Garlic Butter Steak Bites
These bite-sized steak pieces are coated in a delicious garlic-butter glaze. Quick to prepare and impressive on the plate, this low-carb recipe works perfectly for a weeknight dinner, a casual gathering, or as a hearty appetizer.

Ingredients:
This simple recipe uses just a few ingredients (plus salt and pepper). Below is a shopping list — see the recipe card for exact amounts.
- Olive oil
- Sirloin steak – or another preferred cut such as ribeye, New York strip, or tenderloin, cut into 1-inch cubes
- Salt and pepper
- Butter
- Garlic (minced)
- Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Supplies:
No special equipment required. Make sure you have the following on hand.
- Measuring spoons
- Large heavy-bottomed skillet or cast iron skillet
- Spatula or wooden spoon

Instructions:
Sear the steak. Heat the olive oil over medium-high in a large, heavy skillet. Season the steak cubes with salt and pepper and add them to the pan in a single layer. Cook, stirring occasionally, until browned on all sides. Don’t crowd the pan—brown in batches if needed. Transfer the seared steak to a plate and set aside.

Sauté the garlic. Reduce heat to medium-low and add the butter to the skillet. When the butter melts, add the minced garlic and sauté briefly until fragrant—be careful not to burn it.

Finish the steak. Return the seared steak to the skillet and toss in the garlic butter, cooking for about 1 minute. Spoon the buttery pan juices over the steak so each piece is coated and warmed through.

Serve. Transfer the steak bites to a serving platter, spoon over any remaining sauce, adjust seasoning if needed, and garnish with chopped fresh parsley.

Suggested Side Dishes
- Mashed potatoes
- Salad
- Vegetables such as green beans, broccoli, or asparagus
- Rice
- Warm bread rolls
Storage
- To store. Cool to room temperature, then seal in an airtight container with the sauce. Refrigerate up to 4 days or freeze up to 3 months.
- To reheat. Thaw frozen portions in the refrigerator, place in a baking dish, cover with foil, and bake at 350°F until heated through (about 15 minutes). Alternatively, microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until warm.
